Our Order OF Theological COmmitment
Broadly speaking, the order of our doctrinal commitments as a church can be summarized by the below hierarchy:
- Evangelical - Holding to the essential biblical
and historical teachings of the Christian Church through the ages, particularly
those presented in the Apostles' Creed.
- Missional -
Equipping every believer as a prophet, priest, and king in their
particular callings and communities to reach our world with the Gospel of
Christ.
- Reformed - Emphasizing the Reformation
principles of the authority and sufficiency of Scripture, and salvation by
grace through faith alone in the finished work of Jesus Christ for the glory of
God alone.
- Baptistic
- Committed to having a church membership comprised only of those who have repented
and believed the Gospel and are also living a life of ongoing repentance toward
God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
